Interesting Statistics

Video lottery terminals, government run lotteries, slot machines not in casinos and land based casinos are the legally owned forms of gambling in Canada. Statistics Canada has given an interesting report that the revenue earned from gambling has reached a saturation level. A profit of 6.7 billion CAD has been earned from gambling in 2008. The report also shows that as the household income in the country has increased, the expenditure made on gambling has also increased. The figures show that the revenue that the company gets from gambling is same as that of conventional crude oil or natural gas.
